Season 5 Episode 4 Airs Tuesday Night or Early Wednesday Morning

The fourth episode of Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale will make its premiere on Hulu on Wednesday, September 28 at midnight Eastern time. Let’s put this information in a list format to make it simpler to understand from coast to coast:

  • Eastern time: 12 a.m. September 28
  • Central time: 11 p.m. Tuesday, September 27
  • Mountain time: 10 p.m. September 27

This implies that if you reside on the West coast or even in Hawaii, you will be able to watch the program just before bed, and you won’t have to stay up too late in order to catch up on the series.

This is also why some people are talking a lot about the show on Tuesday night, while others may wait until they get off work on Wednesday to tune in.

How to Watch S5E4 Online

If you aren’t caught up with the series yet, you can catch up on Hulu beginning at the hours listed above. You’ll be able to watch The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 Episode 4 in the same manner that you saw the first three episodes of this season.  You’ll have access to all four episodes.

You only need to sign in to your account and do a search for “The Handmaid’s Tale.” You may start with Season 5 by selecting it from a drop-down menu; if you’ve previously seen all of the episodes, you can skip forward to Episode 4.

(Note: Sometimes if Episode 4 doesn’t show up on the menu, but you know it should be released based on the time, you can start watching Episode 3, skip ahead to the very end, and Hulu will automatically go on to Episode 4.)

Even now, the show is not accessible to view on other platforms, such as YouTube and Amazon Video, and it won’t be on Netflix at any point in the future. At least not for a considerable amount of time. This is due to the fact that The Handmaid’s Tale is an original production by Hulu.

What Happened Last Week

Check out these beautiful behind the scene pictures!

Last week was an amazing and intense episode, from start to finish. You can read our full review here, but below is a quick recap.

June was able to connect with a Mayday group located in Canada, near the border with Gilead. It turns out that Mayday has stations all over the world, fighting against Gilead. June was able to use this post to contact Nick and get more details about what’s going on with Hannah. It turns out that the purple dress she wore is a sign that she will be entering wife school soon. And Nick can’t protect her as much now that he’s married again.

Meanwhile, Serena enjoyed a strange level of freedom while visiting Gilead, including being able to attempt to stay there. In the end, her plans didn’t work out. Commander Lawrence wasn’t interested in marrying her, and turned her down in a scene that was so iconic, I kind of want to watch it over and over. The Commanders decided Serena didn’t really fit well in Gilead anymore, so they sent her back to Canada.

June was able to confront Serena the moment she was back on Canadian soil. She is going to be a thorn in Serena’s side, as she should be. I think it’s telling that Serena was so terrified of June, she would rather put her fate in Gilead’s hands – where many think she’s a traitor – rather than face June again.

Aunt Lydia, meanwhile, might be having a change of heart about her life after almost losing Janine.

The pieces are in place for a dynamic season.
