What Can We Expect in the Rick and Michonne Series?

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live follows the individual journeys of Rick and Michonne, who were separated years ago when Rick detonated a bridge to stop a horde of walkers. Injured in the explosion, Rick is rescued by Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) and handed over to a secretive organization that transports him away. Believing Rick to be dead, Michonne later discovers evidence of his survival and sets out on a quest to find him.

On her journey, Michonne forms bonds with fellow travelers in a nomadic caravan who support her mission. Meanwhile, Rick finds himself in the Civic Republic, a fortified community located in the former Philadelphia area, where strict rules are enforced. Despite numerous unsuccessful attempts to escape, Rick chooses to fully integrate into the enigmatic Civic Republic Military, a group that has made mysterious appearances throughout various shows within the Walking Dead Universe, as he prepares for another bid for freedom.

The Ones Who Live premieres Sunday, February 25, 2024 on the AMC and AMC+ networks.
