The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is here, and we can hardly wait to see what will happen to June this season after a crazy finale last season. We know that the show will be playing on Hulu, but what about Amazon, YouTube, or Netflix? Let’s take a look.

Can I Watch The Handmaid’s Tale on Amazon?
Episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale are available to purchase from previous seasons on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. As of today, there is no sign of Season 5 at all on the platform, nor has it been announced anywhere. We think it is safe to say that Season 5 might still be on Amazon, just not right away. You can buy each individual episode if you want to just catch up with the show, but you can also purchase entire seasons.
If you’re trying to watch from Canada, we can confirm that, despite what some websites are saying, The Handmaid’s Tale is not available on Prime Video. I have a Canadian Prime Video account and the show is nowhere to be found! Not one single season is available there. Canadians will have to watch the show on Crave TV.
Is Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale on Netflix?
Since The Handmaid’s Tale is a Hulu Original, and Hulu is a direct competitor to Netflix, the show won’t be available on that platform. It’s possible that, in the future and when all seasons have been released and played for a while, it may appear on Netflix. Who knows! But for now, it’s safe to say that you’ll have to wait an eternity to be able to see June on any Netflix screens.
What About YouTube?
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 is not yet available on Youtube, but you can purchase previous seasons on there. It’s unclear when exactly Season 4 was added on the platform, so an easy estimate would be that the episodes are only going to be available once Season 5 ends. Most likely a few weeks later.
Don’t forget that if you don’t have access to some of those, and you are located outside of the U.S., using a virtual private network (VPN) allows you to seem to originate from another nation. You will be able to circumvent geoblocks and view The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu even if you are located outside of the United States. (Provided your VPN isn’t blocked by Hulu, which sometimes can happen.) Of course, you’ll still need to pay for a Hulu subscription.
What Can We Expect in Season 5?
We wrote about what we are expecting from Season 5 judging on spoilers shown in the preview when it was released. And things look like they’re going to get pretty intense, including a showdown between June and Serena. You may note that certain speculations about The Handmaid’s Tale that used to be online can no longer be found anywhere on the Internet after MGM sent out a number of cease and desist orders. But we can still watch all the trailers that were officially released and speculate on them.
