Derek started Post Apocalyptic Media with his wife Stephanie. Formerly a licensed attorney in the State of Texas, he is currently prepping for the apocalypse.

Senior Editor

Shawn has been infatuated with the post-apocalyptic genre since he wore out his horribly American-dubbed VHS of the original Mad Max as a child. Shawn is the former Editor-in-Chief at Joystiq's Massively.com, creator of the Aftermath post-apocalyptic immersion event, and host of the Through the Aftermath podcast for over 11 years. He currently resides on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with his wife and four children.

Media Editor

Valerie Anne is a Type 1 diabetic, mother, tree-hugger, self-proclaimed granola who loves a good horror story through literature, video games, and movies. She also streams video games and art 5 days a week over at twitch.tv/8bitval

Writers

T. S. Beier is obsessed with science fiction, the ruins of industry, and Fallout. She is the author of What Branches Grow, a post-apocalyptic novel (which was a Top 5 Finalist in the 2020 Kindle Book Awards) and the upcoming Burnt Ship Trilogy (space opera). She is a book reviewer, editor, freelance writer, and co-owner of Rising Action Publishing Co. She currently lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, two feral children, a one-eyed pug, and a Shepherd-Mastiff.


In addition to being obsessed with postapocalyptic books, television & film, Carolynne is a theatre "slash" artist (actor/playwright/producer/graphic designer) living in Seattle, who's even written a few postapocalyptic stage plays...find out more at www.carolynnewilcox.com.


Bill has been a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre for as long as he can remember. Generally known as Mega or MegaDude online, he created several genre sites over the last 15 years, and recently started a new site devoted to classic post-apocalyptic fiction at DEFCON1.net.
