The apocalypse isn’t here yet: Pope declares World War III on hacked Twitter

“Pope declares World War III!” Well, not really…

Don’t believe anything major news media Twitter accounts say in the coming weeks or months, especially if they’re heralding the beginning of the apocalypse. With UPI and the New York Post recently hacked and declaring World War III plus utter chaos, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more news outlets similarly hacked in the coming weeks.

Check out these photos of the hacked UPI's apocalypse news. Click To Tweet

The hacked announcements ranged from the Federal Reserve tanking to the pope declaring World War III and a U.S. aircraft carrier being attacked by China. Here are a few screenshots from the craziness:

I wouldn’t be surprised if someone tried this again with a different news service, would you? So just stay on guard and if a news service declares that zombies are attacking, don’t take it seriously at first.
