An alien apocalypse is always an interesting possibility on the list of final chapters for the earth, but we tend to perk up a bit more when the U.S. government actually confirms the existence of UFOs.

According to the Pentagon, the photos and video leaked from veteran UFO investigators showing a series of triangle-shaped objects flying over a U.S. warship are authentic.

The investigators, filmmaker Jeremy Corbell and reporter George Knapp, have reported on these types of unexplained flying shapes for decades. This particular video was captured by Navy pilots and distributed in 2020 by Corbell and Knapp in a search for answers.

“I can confirm that the referenced photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel,” Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough said in a statement to the UFO investigation site Black Vault. “The UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force) has included these incidents in their ongoing examinations.”

Of course, it’s expected that further details of these objects are completely confidential and cannot be expanded upon by the government who may or may not know more. “As we have said before, to maintain operations security and to avoid disclosing information that may be useful to potential adversaries, DOD does not discuss publicly the details of either the observations or the examinations of reported incursions into our training ranges or designated airspace, including those incursions initially designated as UAP,” Gough continued.

“These are authentic photos and video from actual military encounters with UFOs — generated to educate high-level intelligence officers within our military on the nature and presentation of the UAP/UFO phenomenon,” Corbell wrote on his own site.

We’ve been hearing a lot about aliens lately. In December, we wrote about an Israeli government official who confirmed the existence of a galactic federation that was in direct communication with alien civilizations for the research of our galaxy.

Then in January, we wrote about a Harvard professor who claimed that gigantic “space junk” floating near Earth was actually a cleverly camoflauged craft that behaved as if it was self-propelled.

No matter what you believe personally, it’s interesting to see so many government officials getting involved with this alien and UFO talk that would have been laughed at only years ago.
