Chainsaw Man Episode 8‘s ending song is phenomenal, and the perfect choice for concluding what is likely the best episode in the series so far. Here’s a look at the ending song for Episode 8, including the full video of the song below. R

Here’s the Video for the Episode 8 Ending Song by TK from Ling tosite sigure

Chainsaw Man Episode 8’s ending song is by TK from Ling tosite sigure. Here’s the official video as shared by MAPPA. The video is 1:30 in length.

The rough Google-translated title for this song is “first death.” This simple title encapsulates the show’s ending quite perfectly.

Here’s a link to where you can play the song on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, iTunes, and more.

TK will be releasing a music video for the song on December 6.

At this time, unfortunately, there are no English lyrics available for the song. However, we will update this story as soon as that changes.

What Did TK Say About the Ending Song?

TK is perhaps best known for their Tokyo Ghoul OP.

TK from Ling Tosite Sigure wrote about the ending song, on the Chainsaw Man official website, “I was able to create a perfect organ for eternity with the blood that oozes out of the ‘first death’ story and the drawings. I will pick up the chainsaw that lives in me and dedicate all my killing power to this work. Is the Nobel Prize mine?”

TK is short for Toru Kitajima. He began as the lead vocalist for Ling tosite Sigure, and then launched his solo career in 2011 as TK from Ling tosite sigure. His song Katharsis was the opening song for the second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re, which you can watch below.

He also performed the theme song, “PS Red,” for the Japanese release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2019.

His second single, “Signal,” was the opening theme for the anime 91 Days, which you can watch in the video above.

His single Unravel was the opening for Tokyo Ghoul, which you can watch above. TK’s work is well known and very popular, so getting him for one of the Chainsaw Man endings is a nice accomplishment.

Chainsaw Man Season 1 is going to have one main opening song, along with 12 new ending songs for each new episode. Fans are hoping, however, that the series will ultimately have more than 12 episodes in Season 1, and perhaps those first 12 are just the first “cour.” However, there has been no indication at this time that this theory might be correct. We can only hope! There’s a lot left to animate in the manga, and the series has just touched on a small part so far.

It’s also worth noting that although there has been some minor censorship in the series so far, execs have said they plan to have little censorship and will follow the manga closely.
