Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 25 Drops Sunday Afternoon, with a Possible Slight Delay

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 25 (Episode 84 sub) drops in the U.S. on Sunday, March 6 at 3:45 p.m. Eastern (2:45 p.m. Eastern/12:45 p.m. Pacific/1:45 p.m. Mountain.) In Honolulu, Hawaii, that’s Sunday at 10:45 a.m. In Anchorage, Alaska, that’s Sunday at 11:45 a.m.

A representative of Funimation confirmed the time with Post Apocalyptic Media. The release time is the same for Hulu and Crunchyroll.

However this week — and this week alone  — there’s a small chance the episode will have a slight delay. The episode always airs without subtitles on NHK (a TV channel in Japan) a few hours before the sub drops in the U.S. But this week, the episode is going to be delayed in Japan by about 10 minutes.

This official Attack on Titan tweet above reveals (in the English translation) that the broadcast in Japan’s time is changed to 24:15. That’s about 10 minutes later than it normally airs each week. Because of this, there’s a small chance that this delay might also trickle down to the U.S., but we won’t know until it happens. So if none of the platforms have the episode right at 2:45 p.m. Central, then that’s why. If one platform is missing the episode and the others have it, then it’s more than likely due to server issues. If this happens, try one of the other streaming services’ free trials if you don’t want to wait. For example, Funimation has free trials and you can sign up here.

Here’s a countdown to when the episode is officially expected to drop in the U.S.:

See our full review of last week’s episode here. Below is a short synopsis.

A lot happened last week, even though it was a slower-paced episode. Armin was prepared to sacrifice himself and be eaten by Connie’s mom, in order to save Falco and create better relations between the Marleyan and Paradis Titans. But Connie saved Armin at the last second and realized he had gone down the wrong road in his desperation and grief.

Pieck, Magath, Hange, and Levi made an uneasy alliance, as a very injured Levi is still hell bent on taking Zeke down. Meanwhile, Pieck and Magath want to stop Eren’s Rumbling, so their desires are overlapping for now.

Mikasa managed to reclaim her scarf from Louise in a scene where she was probably the coldest we’ve ever seen her.

Annie reunited with Armin and the others in a comedic scene that was perhaps a bit anticlimactic in terms of Annie’s return. At the same time, Floch is getting drunk on power, and the team throws a desperate Hail Mary to distract him while they escape with food and ammo.

At the end, Gabi brings them all to a sleeping Reiner. It looks like they’ll all be working together again, maybe for the last time.
