‘Y: The Last Man’ Premieres Early Morning September 13 or Late Night September 12
The first three episodes of Y: The Last Man will drop either later at night on Sunday, September 12, or very early in the morning on Monday, September 13, depending on your time zone. Hulu typically uses the same schedule for all its original series premieres, including those supported by outside networks like FX.
Based on the time that other shows typically premiere on Hulu, you can expect the first three episodes of Y: The Last Man to drop at 12 a.m. Eastern on Monday, September 13.
On the west coast (in the Pacific Time Zone) the episodes will premiere at 9 p.m. Pacific on Sunday night, September 12. This means that people on the west coast don’t even have to stay up late if they want to catch the first episodes. (Some publications have wrongly said it premieres at 12 a.m. Pacific, but this isn’t accurate. On the west coast it’s 9 p.m.)
For Central time zone viewers, you’ll be able to start watching at 11 p.m. Central on September 12.
For Mountain zone viewers, you’ll be watching at 10 p.m. Mountain time on September 12.
In the Hawaiian time zone, you’ll be able to start watching at 6 p.m. on September 12, which is an even more convenient time! You could get through all three episodes before you go to sleep and you don’t even have to stay up late.
In Alaska, that’s 8 p.m. on September 12 in Juneau.
In summary, although advertisements all say that the series premieres on Monday, September 13, that’s technically only accurate for the Eastern time zone. But any time you drop by Hulu to watch the series on Monday, it will be available.
How to Watch Outside the U.S.
Just a note that Y: The Last Man is airing on Hulu in the U.S., but this isn’t the same across the world. In the UK, for example, you can catch it on Disney+, Empire reported. But it won’t start streaming there until September 22, so they’ll be behind U.S. viewers.
Here’s a look at some previews that have been shared so far for the new series.
