On July 6th, Made in Abyss Season 2, The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, premiered on HIDIVE. While episode 4 will air on July 27th, some might get impatient to learn what will happen to their favorite characters and turn to the manga instead. Where to Get the Made in Abyss Manga
The quickest and easiest way for you to get the Made in Abyss manga is through Amazon. Especially if you have Prime and can get your hands on them faster! Unless, of course, you’re looking for the Kindle version, which is also available on that link.
If you prefer getting hands-on and flipping a few pages, you might be able to do that at your nearest Barnes and Noble, or any local book store near you. If your book store does not carry the title, ask them if they can order it for you! Oftentimes, they’ll be more than happy to help you out, and bring new titles to their stores. Where Should I Start Reading If I’m Caught Up?
If you don’t want to read all of the manga, you can start at chapter 26 to start after season 1 ends. However, users on Reddit highly suggest starting at the very beginning since some things vary from the TV show and movies.
Some even go further and explain that you may even start at chapter 38 if you’ve watched Dawn of the Deep Soul.
In addition, Season 2 is skipping around between different parts of the manga and airing them in a different order than you’ll read them. So keep that in mind too!
What is Made in Abyss?
Made in Abyss is a series where the only unknown area on the planet is a huge pit and cave system known as the “Abyss.” Strange and amazing species inhabit its depths, and it is brimming with rare artifacts that modern people are unable to create.
Humans are drawn to the wonders of the Abyss, and they descend to investigate. “Cave Raiders” are explorers who delve into the pit.
Rico, a tiny orphan girl, lives in the village of Ōsu on the outskirts of the Abyss. Her ambition is to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a Cave Raider, solving the secrets of the cave system. Rico begins exploring the caverns one day and discovers a robot that resembles a human boy. And from there, their story begins…
