The first season of Raised by Wolves, which premiered on September 3, 2020 on HBO Max in the United States, gathered quite the fanbase and it was no surprise that people were a bit confused when they were left in the dark about Season 2. But on December 3rd 2021, HBO dropped an official teaser trailer for the second season of the show that made watchers excited for its return.
So When Will the Raised By Wolves Season 2 Premiere Air?
Season 2 of Raised by Wolves is returning to HBO Max this coming Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 with a tagline of “Sacrifice For Survival.” Well, that’s not obscure at all. Although very fitting for this post-apocalyptic science-fiction series.
Here is the streaming platform’s synopsis of Raised By Wolves Season 2:
“In season two of ‘Raised by Wolves,’ Android partners Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s ‘natural child’ threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction.”
“Natural Child.” Sure. What they meant was ‘snake baby’. 😅
We’re excited to see what season two will bring after what the first season brought us toward the end. Father died, but surprisingly came back to life; Mother was impregnated by a computer simulation character and gave birth to an eel-baby with scary teeth; “Atheists” and members of the Mithraic Church had a confusing separation after Marcus “saw the light”; Campion questioned his place in his new family, and we saw what seemed the center of Kepler 22-b. Beautiful, dangerous, mysterious, inferno-looking place.
While some online comments aimed at pin-pointing the middle of the season’s dragging story, the many plot twists at the end of season 1 had some of us asking for more. And we can only hope that the new season, produced by Ridley Scott himself, will bring more questions answered, and edge-of-the-seat worthy moments.
Personally, I’m not worried at all, and am ready to pop that corn on Thursday!
