Last Survivors Gets New Trailer and February Release Date

Last Survivors

Vertical Entertainment has released a brand new trailer for Last Survivors, a post-apocalyptic prepper movie about surviving in the Montana wilderness and, most importantly, trusting no one.

The movie, originally billed as SHTF, has gathered some attention last year as it made its way through the indie film circuit before official release this year. It’s already been selected as an entry in the Leeds International Film festival as well as London’s Frightfest 2021.

Last Survivors stars Stephen Moyer and Drew Van Acker as a father and son who survived the end of the world by barricading themselves in a survival shelter in the mountains of Montana for 20 years. But when the father gets seriously injured, it’s up to his son to head into the remnants of civilization for the proper medicine. Young Jake ignores his father’s warnings about the dangers of other people, and Jake soon meets up with Henrietta (played by Alicia Silverstone). But can he trust her?

The trailer shows off the intensity of this new thriller, with a voice-over explaining how the father and son survived for so long as they did.

“After the wars, it was very obvious who was prepared and who wasn’t,” Jake says in the trailer. “There’s those who are prepared for opportunities and setbacks and those who are not. I feel real lucky to have the dad I do.”

Last Survivors will hit select theaters and Video on Demand services on February 4, 2022.
