It’s Looking Like There Will Be 12 Episodes in Season 4 Part 2

Although there were 16 episodes in Season 4 Part 1, it’s looking like Season 4 Part 2 is going to be 12 episodes long and four episodes shorter. Which means just 11 episodes left after the new one today, January 9.

On Twitter, @_Dominating, who is known for sharing accurate leaks and inside information, tweeted that Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 is listed for 12 episodes.

This doesn’t mean that we are guaranteed to only have 12 episodes. But so far, all indicators are pointing to the second half of the season only being 12 episodes long.

On Reddit, however, many people are saying that 12 episodes are indeed confirmed and we won’t be getting more than those.

Inverse has also reported that it will be 12 episodes.

Fans had guessed early on that we would be getting 15 to 18 episodes, but unfortunately that is not looking like it’s going to be the case for Season 4 Part 2.

The Names of the Next Two Episodes

On Twitter, @_Dominate shared the names of the next two episodes before Episode 17 aired.

Season 4 Part 2 Episode 2 will be titled “Sneak Attack.”

Season 4 Part 2 Episode 3 will be titled “Two Brothers.”

Based on the name alone, I’m particularly intrigued by what we will see in Episode 3 (aka Season 4 Episode 19.)

The Producers Said They Would Adapt the Manga All the Way to Its End

The producers of the Attack on Titan anime have said that they plan to adapt the manga all the way to the end, CBR reported, and won’t conclude just halfway through or end before it’s completely finished. So that’s a good sign. With so many chapters left in the manga, it’s just not clear if the anime can wrap in just 12 episodes. But with the producers’ promise in hand, it seems that we don’t have to worry.
