After the cliffhanger that we saw at the end in Eighty-Six Episode 18, you will no doubt be wanting to watch 86 Episode 19 as soon as it releases. (Some may refer to this as 86 Season 2 Episode 8.) Well, if you’re trying to find the new episode, we have some bad news. It’s been delayed. 😞
86 Episode 19 Is Not Releasing This Week
Normally we would get a new episode of 86 (Episode 19) on Saturday, November 27. But for the second time since part 2 of season 1 released, the episode is delayed.
If you were paying close attention, you might have noticed this was likely the case based on the title screen that flashed at the end of Episode 18. Instead of showing the title for Episode 19, it read: “Special Edition “If There’s Something Worth Dying For.” So this week, just like two weeks ago, we’re getting a special edition again instead of a new episode.
The official 86 website noted (in a Google translate version): “Due to the circumstances of production, we have decided to change the broadcast time of episode 19, which was scheduled to be broadcast and distributed sequentially from Saturday, November 27th. We sincerely apologize to everyone who is looking forward to the broadcast for waiting…. All the staff will do their utmost to create a work that meets the expectations of our fans, and we appreciate your understanding.”
On Reddit, one person made a great video symbolizing how we all feel about having to wait another week for the new episode.
When Does 86 Episode 19 Air?
The good news is that you only have to wait one more week for 86 Episode 19. The new episode will air in the U.S. on Saturday, December 4 at its regular time (in Japan, that is 24:00.)
So that means in the U.S., 86 Episode 19 is going to air on Saturday, December 4 (on Crunchyroll) at 9:30 a.m. Pacific on the West Coast, 10:30 a.m. Mountain, 11:30 a.m. Central, and 12:30 p.m. Eastern.

Keep in mind that this is the second of three delays that we know about. The official 86 website noted that the episode scheduled for December 11 (Episode 20) is going to be delayed a week also “due to a special organization” and will air instead on December 18 (most likely.) On Reddit, some viewers noted that December 11 is “Japan Day,” which is why the episode isn’t airing that day. One Redditor wrote wrote: “December 11th and 12th there will be an 86 X SAO collaboration stage on Dengeki Bunko Fest, don’t have very high hopes tho since it’s probably nothing much but hey we could get something interesting out of it.”
