Chainsaw Man’s first episode premieres this Tuesday, October 11, 2022. The much-hyped, long-awaited anime from MAPPA is finally almost here! After everything that’s been revealed in the trailers (and all those teasers from people who got to see both the dub and the sub already), the wait is finally almost over. You’ll definitely want to know exactly when Episode 1 premieres in the U.S., so we’ve provided live countdown timers in the story below to help.

Best Chainsaw Man Countdown Timer for the First Episode

Chainsaw Man Episode 1 premieres at 9 a.m. Pacific on Tuesday, October 11, according to Crunchyroll. That’s the exact time the new episode drops on the Crunchyroll streaming service.

In other time zones, that’s 10 a.m. Mountain, 11 a.m. Central, and 12 p.m. Eastern. So for a lot of people in the U.S., you can catch it on your lunch break!

The best countdown timer, from TickCounter, is embedded below.

Countdown

The timer above is counting down to when the first episode, with English subtitles, will be available in the United States on Crunchyroll.

It’s worth noting that when Attack on Titan premiered, episodes were sometimes a little delayed on Crunchyroll due to server issues. So if the episode isn’t there right away, you may just want to step away and come back in about 15 minutes.

If the above timer doesn’t work, we have another that you can use in the next section below. The timer above should be responsive whether you’re on mobile or desktop.

This next live countdown below is from TimeandDate.com.

This one below may not always be responsive to different devices, so if it doesn’t show up as well on your screen, try holding your device horizontally instead of vertically.

Keep in mind that these timers are counting down to when the English sub episode releases in the U.S. We don’t yet know when Crunchyroll is airing the dub episodes.

Chainsaw Man Trailers

A new sub trailer was also recently released, and you can watch it below while you wait.

The sub trailer includes a glimpse at the new opening theme, “Kick Back,” by Kenshi Yonezu.

That trailer was released during the special MAPPA event where a few lucky people actually got to see the first episode. (It was in Japanese, without subtitles.) A new dub trailer was also released the same day (and the first dub itself was aired at the New York Comic-Con event this past weekend.)

This is a dub version of the subtitled trailer that was already released.

Chainsaw Man will air 12 episodes this season. Fans are hoping this means it’s cour 1, and 12 additional episodes will come out for cour 2. However, this has not been confirmed.

According to an English translation of the anime’s official website, the first episode is called “Dog and Chainsaw.”
