Chainsaw Man’s seventh episode drops on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. And no, Thanksgiving is not affecting the show’s premiere, so you can rest easy. It’s not delayed this week! Episode 6 had a great mix of humor and horror, ending on a cliffhanger that no doubt has left you wanting to watch the new episode as soon as possible. When is Chainsaw Man Episode 7 premiering? In the story below, we’re embedding a live countdown so you can know exactly when the subtitled episode drops in the U.S.

Chainsaw Man Live Countdown Timer

Chainsaw Man Episode 7’s English sub drops in the U.S. at 9 a.m. Pacific on Tuesday, November 22, on both Crunchyroll and Hulu platforms. This is 10 a.m. Mountain, 11 a.m. Central, and 12 p.m. Eastern in other time zones.

It’s worth noting that Crunchyroll didn’t change the time for Daylight Savings a few weeks back. A representative told Post Apocalyptic Media that they didn’t anticipate changing the release time. This means the episode drops in Japan about two hours before the sub drops in the U.S., so beware of spoilers online.

We’re providing a countdown timer below that we created from TickCounter. It should be fully responsive to the device you’re using.

Countdown

Please note that there is a slight chance this time might be off, especially if the servers get overloaded for any reason. If that’s the case, then the episode might take 15 to 30 minutes to drop, rather than exactly at the time of this countdown.

You might as well leave this timer up on your phone or computer, so you’ll know exactly when the episode is going to drop.

Chainsaw Man Recap

You can read our full Chainsaw Man Episode 6 review here. Since there’s not a lot of new Chainsaw Man news this week, we’re providing a short look back at last week’s episode below, with spoilers.

The episode ended on a major cliffhanger, as Denji decided that fate was forcing him to fight the Eternity Devil.

After the group had been lured into the hotel and trapped on the eighth floor, the Eternity Devil left them with just one option: he would free them if they fed him Denji (and feeding him a dead Denji was perfectly acceptable.)

Denji realized this likely means that the Eternity Devil was scared of him and didn’t want to fight him, so he might have a good chance at winning a battle against him. But he didn’t take on that fight until all their options were exhausted.

Aki knew it wasn’t strategic to kill Denji, and he wants Denji around to help him face the Gun Devil. But he felt so strongly about this that he threw himself in front of Kobeni when she tried to stab and kill Denji. (Kobeni has a really sad past, but she hadn’t been helping the team at all during this mission. Instead, her fear has been causing more problems…)

Power was trying to save Aki’s life when the episode ended, and Himeno was horrified at the thought that her friend and partner might die right in front of her.

The episode had a lot of funny moments, mixed with a lot of dark moments too. While I’m sure Denji will be victorious, it’s going to be interesting to see what transpires in his battle against the Eternity Devil  — and what else is revealed about the world in the process.
