Anya Taylor-Joy takes on the titular role. The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, and Tom Burke. Exclusively hitting theaters across the nation on May 24, 2024, and making its international debut on May 22, 2024.


A Quiet Place: Day One, a forthcoming American post-apocalyptic horror film, is penned and directed by Michael Sarnoski, adapting an original narrative conceived by John Krasinski and Sarnoski. Positioned as a spin-off prequel, it serves as the third installment in the A Quiet Place film series. The theatrical release of the film is slated for June 28, 2024.

Jeff Eriksson, a former Green Beret, assumes the role of head of security at “The Homestead,” an intricate prepper compound, as the world descends into chaos. Within its confines, the inhabitants confront resource wars and ideological clashes, while outside, anarchy prevails. In the midst of this turmoil, unity and overlooked truths come to light, love blossoms in unexpected corners, and the community endeavors to cultivate the land while warding off imminent destruction. No official dates have been released so far, only that it is slated for 2024.


A new sequel is underway for the contemporary horror classic, 28 Days Later, emerging 22 years after its initial introduction of a zombie epidemic. There are even discussions about transforming it into a trilogy of sequels. The upcoming installment, titled 28 Years Later, will see the return of the original film’s masterminds, with Danny Boyle directing and Alex Garland handling the writing duties. Although the movie doesn’t have a set date for its release, it is most likely going to be end of 2024, or begining of 2025.

The star-studded cast includes Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Cailee Spaeny, Jesse Plemons, and Nick Offerman. Set in the near future, the storyline follows a team of journalists as they traverse the United States amidst an intensifying civil war that has swept across the entire nation. Their struggle for survival unfolds against the backdrop of a dystopian dictatorship, where partisan extremist militias routinely engage in acts of political violence. Scheduled to release April 26, 2024.


Mickey 17 is an upcoming American science fiction film, scripted, directed, and co-produced by Bong Joon-ho, drawing inspiration from the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The star-studded cast features Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. Warner Bros. Pictures is set to theatrically release the film.

In this narrative, Mickey 17 is designated as an “expendable,” serving as a disposable employee on a human expedition tasked with colonizing the icy world of Niflheim. The End, featuring Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram, and Michael Shannon, narrates the tale of the Earth’s last surviving family. This family, descendants of an oil tycoon directly responsible for the planet’s demise, has secluded themselves in a luxurious underground bunker for two decades. Unwilling to confront the consequences of their actions, they remain below the surface. The nuclear family is joined by a maid, a doctor, a butler, and later a young woman who has managed to survive. The film’s official synopsis indicates that musical numbers will punctuate the raw realism, serving as a manifestation of the family’s deliberate denial regarding their destructive impact on the Earth and their abandonment of loved ones. This post-apocalyptic sci-fi film is set to be released on an unspecified date in 2024.

Alien: Romulus was initially slated for release on Hulu; however, there has been a change in plans. The film is now scheduled for a theatrical release by 20th Century Studios, with the new release date set for August 16, 2024.
