Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Part 1 (aka the first hour-long movie) just premiered on Friday, March 3. But only the English subtitled version aired on Crunchyroll and Hulu so far. The English dubs aren’t online yet. So when can you see the English dub for Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3? Here’s what we know so far.

The English Dub Should Release in About a Month

Based on how long it’s taken English dubs to release in the past, we have a pretty reliable indicator on when to expect the dub this time around too. The first episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 released on January 9, 2022. Then the very first English dub was released on February 13, 2022, exactly five weeks later. 

For previous seasons, this same pattern held then too. It was about four to five weeks after the sub released before we got the English dub. And in previous seasons, we didn’t get an official announcement about the release date right away either. Because Crunchyroll didn’t even announce the premiere time for the sub until exactly when it was dropped, I wouldn’t expect an official dub announcement too soon. 

So we’re anticipating that the Season 4 Part 3 dub will likely drop on April 7, 2023, with a small chance it will release a week earlier on March 31, 2023. 

(Interestingly, Chainsaw Man’s dubs have a quicker turnaround, but I would imagine Attack on Titan will stick to its past pattern.)

Where Will the English Dub Be Once It’s Released? 

We expect the dubs to be available on both Crunchyroll and Toonami, if the pattern of who had the dubs in the past continues to hold. 

It will likely release on Crunchyroll sometime in the afternoon (likely April 7 or March 31, as we said in the previous section.) In the past it dropped on Funimation too, but since Funimation is being merged with Crunchyroll, I wouldn’t hold my breath for seeing it on Funimation’s platform.

The dub will likely also be available to watch on Toonami, just like they have for Attack on Titan in the past. Last season, Toonami actually got the dubs a few hours before they dropped on Crunchyroll. They first premiered on Toonami on TV at 12:30 a.m. Eastern/11:30 p.m. Central, and then showed up on Crunchyroll a few hours later. So keep an eye on both platforms if you’re waiting for an official date. 

Clicking on the Attack on Titan link on Toonami takes you to Adult Swim’s page here, where the dub will eventually appear in about a month or so. 

Hulu, however, won’t get the dub until much later. In fact, according to Hulu’s March 2023 press schedule, they’re not even getting the dub for Season 3 Part 2 until March 28, 2023, more than a year after the dubs started dropping on Crunchyroll. So even though Hulu gets English subs at the same time as Crunchyroll, they’re about a year behind on the English dubs. 

In summary: the Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 English dub for the first “movie” will likely drop on Crunchyroll and Toonami in about four to five weeks. Hulu won’t get it for probably another year.
