First Look at Diphtheria — Hardcore open-world single-player game
This FPS might look similar to other survival shooters that have released recently, but Diptheria is single player, which means you can play the game without someone named YoUrM0M420 teabagging you over and over again. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic New York City that’s been taken over by zombies. The game is still in development and is being created by a very small low-budget team, but it looks to have promise.

RAIDER ATTACK – Endzone PROSPERITY #9 – City Survival Wasteland || Banished Goes Apocalyptic
This is the 9th episode of Nivarias’ in-depth look at the post-apocalyptic city-building game Raider Attack. It’s very similar to Banished or Surviving the Aftermath, but in a very unique environment. Since this video is the 9th in the series, it shows off more of the later features and isn’t just a first look at the tutorial or first few minutes.

Top 10 Most Underrated Post Apocalyptic Movies
We all know and love the major classics, but this list checks out some of the hidden gems like Refuge, Singularity, and I Think We’re Alone now. This is seriously an impressive list of truly great indie films that many probably haven’t seen before.

BROKEN DARKNESS Official Trailer (2021) Action, Thriller Movie HD
Speaking of hidden gems, this is the official trailer for Broken Darkness, a movie that originally released in 2017 (not 2021 as the video’s title suggests). The movie centers around a group of survivors who must emerge from underground subway tunnels where they’ve lived for years. But they weren’t ready for the horrors that face them topside.

BUNKER SURVIVAL – Join The PLAYTEST – New POST APOCALYPTIC SURVIVAL Game 2022
This is just a short little trailer, but it shows off the upcoming FPS survival game Bunker Survival from developer Game Island. You can sign up for the playtest now if it’s something that interests you.

Mutant – Post-Apocalyptic Action (2019)
This quirky film is part Zombieland and part Fallout 4. And the end gunfight scene is pretty spectacular. The short film was originally released in 2019 but I was happy to see it resurface this week.

Wasteland Angel Trailer
This game is just a straight-up arena car battle game that is a throw-back to those games we grew up playing in the 80s and 90s like Twisted Metal. It features 24 levels with three enemy factions and huge boss battles. And you can’t beat this part of the game’s description: “Outfitted with a heavily armored car, unlimited firepower and a thirst for vengeance, our Heroine — the Wasteland Angel — roams the radioactive wastes, traveling from one God-forsaken town to the next, protecting survivors from being enslaved. She’s on a mission, to defend those that can’t defend themselves.”

While it originally released back in 2011, this trailer shows why we might want to give it a look when it hits a Steam sale.
