Corporal is at it again in this solo overnight camping adventure in a ruined cabin using pieces and parts scavenged from the site. I’m a big fan of Corporal’s Corner but this one is really something for those of us who dream of surviving in an old abandoned shack.

Sundown Trail Short Film
A man and his son set out to gather poisonous mushrooms to make an antidote that could save the remaining survivors of an atmospheric apocalypse, but can they defend their find from a band of thieves? I like this short film for its unique take on the end of the world and its impressive cinematography.

Karagon Gameplay – PC Steam (Free Demo)
Karagon is a game that plays like your typical apocalyptic survival game, but you also get to scavenge robot parts to make your own bots. How cool is that?!

OzLand (2015)
OzLand may not be a new movie, but this is the full version that came out this week and it’s well worth watching for a low budget flick. It tells the story of two men in a post-apocalyptic world who find a copy of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and treat it like a holy book.

After the World Ends on Indiegogo
If you’re a fan of the classic post-apocalyptic sci-fi from the ’80s and ’90s, this Indiegogo campaign might be up your alley. After the World Ends is a 256-page book that celebrates the origins of the genre.

The Field of Miracles
This is mostly a stunt project from Stepan Eidenzon, but it has some great action packed into its 7 minutes, and the costumes are great.

The Rare Earth – Directors Cut (2022) TRAILER
This is just a quick trailer for an upcoming movie called The Rare Earth, but it shows some pretty promising scenes from this climate apocalypse film. It certainly looks like something we’ll be keeping our eyes on.

SCAVENGER – Official Teaser Trailer (with English Subtitles)
While this film (and this trailer) are completely in Spanish, there are English subtitles. The movie’s description reads, “In a post-apocalyptic world, Reiko and Adam escape from the Walled City after stealing something from the Bouden company, which sends a group of mercenaries to catch them. His goal is to reach The Old Woman, a mysterious woman who seems to have the key to start a new future.”

Dying Light 2 Gameplay – Part 1
Dying Light 2 is now out and this video shows off an hour of real gameplay through the first parts of the game. It looks like it has much of the same stuff we loved in the first Dying Light game, so that’s a plus!
