The Starship Troopers universe includes books, movies, and even a very outdated video game. It was about time a new video game would be released, and developers The Artistocrats delivered. What Time Does Starship Troopers: Terran Command Release?
Starship Troopers: Terran Command will release on Steam June 16th, 2022. There is no specific time mentioned, however, if we base ourselves on other Steam games releases, we can expect the game to be ready for download between 10 a.m. and noon PT/ 1 p.m and 3 p.m. Eastern. A demo was previously downloadable but has since been removed.
The game was initially set to be released March 31st, but The Aristocrats said in the steam forums that they wanted their game to be polished before releasing it, so the game was delayed until June 16th. Username “Death”, also titled as the developer on Steam, said in a statement “We intend to deliver a finished and polished game, and it is very important for us that you are able to fully enjoy the game from day 1, without any issue spoiling your fun or without having to wait for future patches or hotfixes.”
A wise decision considering that while the early reviews of games like Cyberpunk did well, as players kept playing, they would encounter many bugs and were very frustrated with how the game was released too early. It seems like The Aristocrats want to avoid this, and good on them for that!
Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a real-time strategy game set in the universe of the Starship Troopers films. Players take charge of the mobile infantry and fight the arachnid threat, just as in the movies. And fans are excited about its release!
