Muv-Luv Alternative’s New Episodes Air Wednesday Late Morning/Early Afternoon

Although the information below is specific for Episode 2 of Muv-Luv Alternative, just change the time to correspond with whatever week you’re watching to know what time the next episode airs.

Depending on your time zone, Muv-Luv Alternative Episode 2 will be available to watch on Wednesday, October 13 either late in the morning or early in the afternoon, according to a schedule shared by Crunchyroll.

Episode 2 will air at 9:25 a.m. Pacific for people on the West Coast on Wednesday, October 13.

This translates to 10:25 a.m. Mountain, 11:25 a.m. Central, and 12:25 p.m. Eastern for those on the East Coast, including New York. So no matter what time zone you’re in, you can watch Muv-Luv during your lunch break if that’s your preference. Or the episode will be available to watch in any time zone Wednesday night.

(Note that there is a small chance the episode might release early. According to the anime’s official website, Episode 2 is releasing about 30 minutes earlier in Japan than Episode 1 was released last week. It’s not clear if this will change the time the episode drops on Crunchyroll at all.)

The description for the series reads: “The Muv-Luv story continues as the Tactical Surface Fighters continue the fight against the extraterrestrial species BETA.” Although this is a continuation of two visual novels, the creators of the anime have said that you won’t need to have seen those before watching Muv-Luv Alternative.

According to the anime’s official website, Episode 1 was an original story about the fall of the Sado Island base that was not part of the visual novel.

The cast members will be taking part in a special program on October 22, but this won’t be viewable on Crunchyroll.
