What does the plot of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead entail?

Here is the synopsis of both the anime and live-action. “With three years under his belt at the company from hell, Akira Tendo is mentally and physically spent. All at the ripe old age of twenty-four. Even his crush from Accounting, Saori, wants nothing to do with him. Then, just when life is beginning to look like one big disappointment, it happens. The zombie apocalypse descends on Japan! Surrounded by hordes of hungry zombies, Akira comes to a realization that will forever change his life… “Wait, does this mean I never have to go to work again?” Confess to… party like it’s… travel Japan coast to… Now, with his nightmare job no longer, Akira’s got his mojo back. Created by Haro Aso (renowned for Alice in Borderland), this captivating series, also illustrated by Kotaro Takata, has gained worldwide popularity due to its distinctive plotline. Initially serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X in Japan, it has now expanded its reach and garnered an English-speaking audience through Viz Media in North America.

Not only does the new post-apocalyptic anime feature an incredible creative team, but it also boasts impressive production credentials. Kii Tanaka, renowned for their work on PuraOre! Pride of Orange, is responsible for the character design. Junpei Fukuchi, the talented artist behind Pokémon, lends their skills to designing the zombies. The series showcases a remarkable musical score composed by Makoto Miyazaki, recognized for his contributions to SPY x FAMILY and One Punch Man. The opening theme, titled “Song of the Dead,” is performed by the band KANA-BOON, while the ending theme, “Happiness of the Dead,” is delivered by Shiyui.
