Chainsaw Man’s first episode was amazing and the voice cast for the dub are perfect! This week we’ll meet two new voice actors as Chainsaw Man Episode 2’s dub premieres. Chainsaw Man Episode 2’s dub premieres on Tuesday, November 1, exactly a week after the first dub premiered. Here’s exactly when the dub premieres, in different time zones, so you can watch it right when it’s available. There’s even a live countdown timer in the second section.

Here’s What Time Chainsaw Man’s Episode 2 Dub Premieres

Chainsaw Man Countdown Timer
Chainsaw Man (Crunchyroll)

Chainsaw Man Episode 2’s English dub drops on Crunchyroll a little later than the sub drops, according to Crunchyroll. While the sub airs at 12 p.m. Eastern (9 a.m. Pacific) on Tuesday, November 1, the new English dub doesn’t drop until 12:30 p.m. Pacific, more than three hours later. (And of  course, it’s the Episode 2 dub, while it’s the Episode 4 sub that airs earlier.)

Here’s a look at when the English dub drops in different time zones on Tuesday, November 1:

  • 12:30 p.m. Pacific
  • 1:30 p.m. Mountain
  • 2:30 p.m. Central
  • 3:30 p.m. Eastern

This is closer to the time that Attack on Titan’s episodes would drop (except those always dropped on Sundays.)

Live Countdown to the English Dub Episode 2

We’ve created a countdown timer from TickCounter to let you know exactly when Episode 2’s dub should be available. The timer is embedded below wand should be responsive to whatever device you’re using. If it’s not, then you may need to hold your mobile device horizontally to see it right.

Remember: This countdown is for the English dub premiere, not the sub.

Countdown

Please note that this dub time is not guaranteed. It’s the time it’s expected to drop, but dubs can sometimes be a bit more unpredictable than subs. If it’s delayed, just keep checking. It should show up sometime today. But go ahead and leave this page up until Chainsaw Man’s dub drops, so you have an idea of when to expect it!

Chainsaw Man’s dub is only available on Crunchyroll in the U.S. at this time.

Looking Back at Episode 1

You can check out our full review of Episode 1 here, but a quick recap is below.

SPOILERS for Episode 1 below.

The episode set up the story perfectly, creating a dark, dystopian vibe that will serve as the foundation for the rest of the series.

Denji is a downtrodden, abused character who still has a heart of gold despite it all. He had to sell his eye and other body parts just to try to pay off the debt his dad left behind when he died. But he still has hope for a better future.

Pochita was a bright spot in the episode. When Denji met Pochita, he thought he didn’t have much longer to live. But then he saw that Pochita was injured too, so he offered up his own blood to help the little chainsaw dog live. The two became fast friends. He told Pochita to take his body if he ever died, so the little dog could live on. But when Denji was betrayed and zombie devils tried to eat him, Pochita gave him his heart instead, so Denji could live.

At the end of the episode, Denji was found by a red-haired devil hunter who is bringing him into her organization.

The new episode was phenomenal, and Episode 2 promises to be just as great. There are supposed to be 12 episodes this season, and we can’t wait to see every single one of them.
