Chainsaw Man Episode 12 Time & Countdown Timer

For U.S. viewers, Chainsaw Man Episode 12 drops at 9 a.m. Pacific on Tuesday, December 27. In other time zones, this is 10 a.m. Mountain, 11 a.m. Central, and 12 p.m. Eastern. You can catch it on Crunchyroll and Hulu’s streaming platforms.

We’ve created a countdown timer below from TickCounter that counts down to exactly when the new sub drops.

Countdown

You’ll want to just leave this page up so you can glance at it whenever you want to see how much time is left. Since this is the finale, there could be a larger number of people than normal wanting to watch all at the same time. So there’s a chance the server might get overwhelmed. If that’s the case on either platform, then the episode might be 30 minutes later or longer.

On the small chance that there are problems with the countdown timer, here’s a backup.

This backup above isn’t device-responsive, so you may need to rotate your device to view it properly. The timer is from TimeandDate.com.

We like to end these countdowns with the latest Chainsaw Man news. Here’s what’s recently been announced.

According to the official website, character assessment videos have been released to celebrate the countdown to the finale. Here’s Himeno’s:

Kobeni’s was released on the five day countdown.

Here’s MAPPA’s video about Makima:

And the video about Pochita:

And Power:

And of course, Aki:

The official website also noted that there is going to be a retrospective screening on December 28 on the Niconico live broadcast at 20:05. At 25:00, they’ll re-air Episode 12. Unfortunately, you can only view this if you’re in Japan, but here’s the link.

We didn’t get any announcements at Jumpa Fest 2023 for Chainsaw Man. Fans didn’t learn if there will be a second cour, as hoped. The panel did share 10 ending theme songs, along with messages from the artists featured in the last two ending songs. Volume 13 of the manga will go on sale on January 4, and the next major Chainsaw Man event will be an exhibition in Tokyo on February 24. Tatsuki Fujimoto also shared a message about how Himeno has touched him too.

So at this point, as far as we know, Episode 12 is the definitive finale to Season 1. Fans are hoping that there will be a second cour released at some point in 2023, but it’s equally possible that we’ll have to wait a year or so for Season 2. Mappa hasn’t released any more details that would clue us in on what to expect, and it’s unknown if something will be shared when Episode 12 concludes. Mappa’s next biggest project is Attack on Titan, expected to air early in 2023. But since we don’t even have an exact date for that one yet, it’s anticipated that we won’t know a date for Chainsaw Man’s return either.
