If you’re looking for English subtitles to Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 17, you won’t be able to watch the episode on Netflix or Amazon in the United States. The U.S. version of Netflix only has Season 1 of Attack on Titan, and we’re now on Season 4.

On Amazon, you can watch Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Attack on Titan in the U.S., but you can’t watch Season 4. So no, you won’t be able to watch the new episode on either of those streaming platforms.

Yes, You Can Watch Attack on Titan on Hulu

If you have a subscription to Hulu, then the answer is yes. You can watch the new episode (English subtitles only) of Season 4 Part 2 on Hulu.  Hulu will post Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 17 (sub) here once it’s online.

If you’re wanting to watch the new episode the moment it’s available, you can also watch on Funimation or Crunchyroll in the U.S. In fact, Funimation sometimes gets the new episode a few minutes (or seconds) before everyone else.

Season 4 Episode 17 (the English sub) will drop at this link on Funimation once it’s available.

In Other Countries, the Answer Might Be Different

Keep in mind that in countries outside the U.S., the answer might be different.

For Season 4 Part 1 last  year, for example, Netflix did air the new episodes, but only in the Philippines and Thailand, typically a few days after the initial release in Japan.

And Amazon Prime Video had the new episodes for people in Italy or Malta who wanted the Italian sub/dub. So Netflix and Amazon can be options, but only if you live in the right countries.

If you’re in the U.S., you’ll need to stick to Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu to watch Season 4 Part 2 the moment it drops on January 9 at 12:45 p.m. Pacific.
