Attack on Titan's Full-Length Rumbling Song

On the day of one of the biggest Attack on Titan episodes yet, another big reveal also happened. SiM released the full-length version of their hit “Rumbling” song. The English lyrics are also now available. See both in the story below.

This Attack on Titan article is manga-spoiler-free. For more anime-only discussions, join us on Discord or in our AoT Facebook page.

The full-length Rumbling song (a little more than four minutes in length) is now available on SiM’s official YouTube page. Watch it below or here.

The composer is SiM, arranger is SiM, and lyricist is MAH.

SiM is also going to release an official music video, coming soon.

Here Are the Lyrics for the Full-Length Song

The AnimeHype YouTube channel has released the lyrics to the song, which you can see below if you click on “CC” at the bottom of the video while watching.

Keep in mind that these lyrics aren’t 100% accurate, as some of them already are at odds with the lyrics to the TV version that SiM released on their official YouTube channel. For example, the above video thinks the lyrics are “Break Free!” when SiM’s video has said there are “Beware!” But as SiM hasn’t yet released lyrics to go along with the full song (that we have seen) these are the best we have so far.

Here are the lyrics (with a few changes made based on SiM’s earlier video lyrics.) Note that Lyrical Nonsense’s website also has a slightly different interpretation, which we also include as an option for some of the lines.

Rumbling, Rumbling, It’s Coming

Rumbling, Rumbling

BEWARE!

Coming for you!

All I ever wanted to do was do right things
I never wanted to be the king
I swear!
All I ever wanted to do was save your life
I never wanted to grab a knife
I swear!

Tearless, fearless, burning, burning
You tell me what have I missed?
Still wandering in the deep mist.

If  I lose it all, slip and fall
I will never look away.
If I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all.
If I lose it all, outside the wall
Live to die another day.
I don’t want anything, I’m just here to…

Beware! (some think this is Break Free! But SiM’s TV version lyrics say it’s Beware!)

All I ever wanted to do was know what’s out there
I refused to lose without a fight (around here)
We’re (you’re?) just too young, ignorant and innocent
Like kids staying up all night in a tent (Anime Hype suggested “The king’s there for a night in a tent” which is likely wrong)
How do you see me? (Anime Hype suggested: “Why don’t you save me?”)
Am I who I used to be? (Anime Hype suggested: “This is who I have to be!”)

BEWARE!

Nobody knows what’s inside of me
nobody knows what’s inside of me
nobody knows what’s inside of me

If I lose it all, slip and fall
W
ill you laugh at me?
If I lose it all, lose it all

If I lose it all, slip and fall
I will never look away
If I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all
If I lose it all outside the wall, live to die another day
I don’t want anything
I’m just here to…
BEWARE!

Rumbling, Rumbling, it’s coming, Rumbling, Rumbling.

The band SiM performs the  song. According to Wikipedia, SiM stands for Silence iz Mine, and it’s a Japanese alternative metal band. The song hit #1 on the U.S. billboard chart for hard rock songs. Maybe the full-length version will do even better!
