Zack Snyder’s latest foray into the world of zombies will be coming to Netflix with Army of the Dead, a film that he started writing immediately after the success of his 2004 remake Dawn of the Dead.

A brand new trailer shows off footage from the movie for the first time, and in it, we see Dave Bautista, Matthias Schweighöfer, Omari Hardwick, and about a zillion zombies showing off the intense slow-mo action we’ve come to know and love in a Zack Snyder flick.

The movie is centered around a band of mercenaries who think that a zombie outbreak would be a perfect time to rob Las Vegas casinos. The teaser shows off the undead invasion as showgirls and gamblers run for their lives with a zombie Elvis thrown in for good measure.

And if this teaser gets you excited for more, Snyder is also working on an anime-style spinoff called Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas and he just wrapped production of a prequel film that is expected in 2022.

Army of the Dead is coming exclusively to Netflix on May 21, 2021.
