Society after the Apocalypse? Wasteland Weekend
If you’re curious about Wasteland Weekend, this is a nice little video showing some of the different aspects of what you can find. Additionally, I found two more videos this week on the same topic. Check out this one from a photographer and this one from The Apocalypse Post.

Gaslands – Let’s get Started with Post Apocalyptic Vehicular Mayhem from Osprey Games
Curious about getting started in Gaslands but don’t know where to begin? This video walks you through the basics, including how to get started on the cheap.

Joshua Schuster: Existential Risk and Apocalyptic Thinking
If you’re ready for some really deep discussion on the apocalypse, the Centre for Apocalyptic & Post-Apocalyptic Studies (yes, that’s a thing!) released this Power Point presentation that explores the apocalypse as a very serious topic.

Insane Ways People Are Preparing for Doomsday
After that last video, you might be ready for something a bit less intense. This wonderful animation explains the many different ways that people are preparing for the apocalypse from lush bunkers to insane stockpiles of supplies.

The Ballad of Paris Cassidy
The first 40 seconds of this short film are pretty incredible and will hook you in right away. Kudos to Nicholas Pilk who not only performed that epic scene, but also directed this post-apocalyptic spaghetti western.

Welcome to a Mobile Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game! – Dawn of Zombies: Survival
Dawn of Zombies: Survival is a mobile game that looks to have some intense survival aspects like you’d find in larger PC or console titles. Although his video is sponsored by the devs, Cairek does take a deep look at the game and shares his impressions.

Black Crab (2022) Netflix Film *REVIEW* Noomi Rapace
Black Crab is releasing on Netflix this Friday and this video can get you ready for what to expect. The video seems to touch on the movie in general, so I don’t believe there are any spoilers, but it’s worth a watch to help explain more about this Swedish film.

Shawn has been infatuated with the post-apocalyptic genre since he wore out his horribly American-dubbed VHS of the original Mad Max as a child. Shawn is the former Editor-in-Chief at Joystiq's Massively.com, creator of the Aftermath post-apocalyptic immersion event, and host of the Through the Aftermath podcast for over 11 years. He currently resides on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere with his wife and four children.
