Rumors have been flying for awhile that The Walking Dead would get a spin-off. AMC has just confirmed that it’s true! It hasn’t said much else, except that the new series won’t take place in the same location as our current favorite show. It’ll give viewers a glimpse of what’s going on in other parts of the world. There’s no word yet on when the show will air, but production begins later this year. EW has more details here.
