Most of the cast of Season 9 of Alone are braving not just the wilderness, but the wild territory of social media! Below you’ll find a brief intro to each of the contestants, and where to follow them on social media.

Terry Burns 

A commercial fisherman from Hurricane, West Virginia (and Homer, Alaska), Terry is 30 years old and, after a near-death experience, moved to Alaska to live more in tune with nature. Terry is an accomplished backpacker, hunter, and fisher.

Tom Garstang

A fire practitioner, regenerative agriculturist, and leatherworker, Tom is 35 and hails from Earlysville, Virginia. Tom is from South Africa with a family background in conservation.

Benji Hill 

A 46-year-old hunting and packgoat guide from San Diego, California, Benji began enjoying the outdoors after a ski trip. Benji took up an adventurous lifestyle and now guides big game hunts and teaches kids wildness skills.

Karie Lee Knoke

Karie Lee, a wilderness/primitive skills instructor, hails from Sandpoint, Idaho and is 57-years-old. After ten years in the corporate world in Seattle, Karie left the grind to live in a 30′ yurt off the grid.

Jessie Krebs

A 49-year-old wilderness survival instructor from Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Jessie is a survivor of abuse and used her passion for the environment to heal. A member of the US Air Force, she teaches survival techniques and has opened her own school, the Outdoorsy Women Learning Survival Skills, in 2022.

Juan Pablo Quiñonez

Juan is a thirty-year-old outdoor professional from Pinawa, Manitoba/Guadalajara, Mexico. He grew up with a connection to the outdoors and has spent his life on various outdoor adventures (whitewater rafting trips, spending six months foraging, and living outdoors for 100 days foraging, for example).

Adam Riley 

An alpaca shearer and treehouse builder, Adam is a thirty-six-year-old from Fayetteville, Arkansas. He spent months in Madagascar, Mongolia, Australia, Peru, and has sailed in the Caribbean.

Teimojin Tan 

Teimojin is from Montreal, Quebec and is a thirty-one-year-old physician. A soldier before becoming a doctor, Teimojin also focuses on plant-based and wildness medicines.

Jacques Turcotte 

The youngest in the competition at twenty-three, Jacques is a wilderness expedition guide from Juneau, Alaska.  Jacques has spent the first few years of adulthood off-trail backpacking in the Rockies, living in a van off-grid, and experiencing adventures such as wrangling bison and guiding ice climbers on glaciers.

Igor Limansky 

A forty-year-old from South Lake City, Utah, Igor is a community leader. Igor is invested in his connection with the land, as he is also a meditation practitioner, bowhunter, and wild game chef.
