Season 4 Episode 17 Refresher

Here’s where we left off last week

Last week’s episode was phenomenal and a perfect way of kicking off the new season. You can see our full review here. Here’s a quick recap:

Hange was devastated to find Levi eviscerated from when Zeke set off the thunderspear in his face. And Zeke, somehow, was rebuilt in a strange, spiritual way. He’s in perfect condition while Levi might be barely alive or worse. We don’t know Levi’s fate, but we do know that Zeke is back focused on his quest to end the Titans once and for all.

Meanwhile, Marley is fighting to try to gain the Founding Titan’s power for itself, which would be another disaster for everyone in the world. Marley would not treat that kind of power well.

Eren began his fight against Reiner, and while he seemed to have the upper hand for awhile, facing Reiner, Galliard, and a new weapon seemed to be too much even for him. But now that Mikasa, Armin, Jean, and Conny are free, he might still have a chance if they decide to help him. But what happens next remains to be seen.
