Fans of The Walking Dead universe, time to grab your popcorn and favourite walker plushie because the new Tales of the Walking Dead is about to hit our screens and we can barely wait! Here is how to watch the premiere of your all-new favorite stories from the zombie apocalypse.

What Time is Tales of the Walking Dead’s Premiere?

According to the Tales of the Walking Dead Twitter account, the first episode of Tales of the Walking Dead has already premiered on AMC+ this past Thursday, August 11. It will premiere on AMC this Sunday, August 14, at 9 p.m. Eastern (8 p.m. Central.)

Here’s the famous tweet with all the times and days the episodes are going to air, making it super easy for everyone to quickly glance at and remember.

If you’re an AMC+ subscriber, you’ll be able to watch each episode a week in advance compared to the regular AMC schedule, which seems to now be a trend with all things The Walking Dead on AMC+. Very tempting if you ask me!

What Is the Series About?

This new anthology series will focus on many characters from the world of The Walking Dead, both new and old.

The first episode follows Terry Crews as Joe and Olivia Munn as Evie. This one will be slightly different than what we’re used to, with both actors’ general sense of humor and how Terry Crews’ roles usually tend to be comedic.

Check out this closer look at the trailer with more analyzed approaches.

We’re also told that at least some episodes will give us a distant glimpse into the future, which sounds fascinating.

In celebration of the premiere, Terry Crews is taking over Instagram on Sunday.

Each episode in this series will run an hour and feature a different story in The Walking Dead’s universe.

If you want to be part of the first ones to put your eyes on this new series, you can subscribe to AMC+ through AppleTV, Amazon Prime Video, and Roku.  Find out more on the AMC+ website.

In addition to this spinoff, we also have more that we’re looking forward to, including the Daryl spinoff in France, Maggie and Negan’s Isle of the Dead, and the Rick and Michonne spinoff.

The Rick and Michonne spinoff was announced at a Comic-Con panel. You can watch a video of the announcement and learn more details here. Danai Guirira and Andrew Lincoln said they are heavily involved in this spinoff, which gives us a lot of hope about the quality and what to expect.

Lincoln told the crowd: “I personally can’t wait to get my cowboy boots back on.”

Gurira told the group: “We…got together and have been cooking something up… We owe you the conclusion of this story!”
