Still Not Sold on Tribes of Europa? Check out this Behind-the-Scenes Video

Tribes of Europa

If you’re still on the fence about watching Netflix’s Tribes of Europa, or you already watched it and want to get some deeper insight into the German series, a brand new video was released today that explains more of the behind-the-scenes inner workings of the show.

“I think it’s a show that allows you to immerse yourself in a world that’s very alien on one hand, but also familiar in a way,” Producer Max Wiedemann explained in the video.

The feature is all in English-subtitled German, showing off interviews with the cast on their roles in the popular show and their thoughts on how it all unfolds. Both cast and crew explain the backstory of the series, dive deeper into tribe lore, and explore the timeline.

“Europe in the year 2074 is a kind of Wild West,” Showrunner Philip Koch says in a clip. “We know there was a major blackout that immobilized the entire world.”

This video is a good primer for the show that helps you understand what’s going on without giving away any major plot spoilers. It helps you get to know the cast a bit better and lays out the timeline of events that led to the post-apocalyptic world of 2074 Europa.

While there is no official word yet from Netflix, a second season is expected for the hit series.
