When it comes to the apocalypse, we often think about zombies, nuclear wars, weather disasters… and not enough about vampires. Netflix is changing that through Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Pokémon) by bringing to life a story about humans and vampires in a divided world. This title is called Vampire in the Garden and we’ve got the details on what time it will premiere, right here for you.
What Time Does Vampire in the Garden Premiere?
Vampire in the Garden premieres exclusively on Netflix on May 16th and will air at 12:00 a.m PT / 3:00 a.m. EST. It is directed by Ryôtarô Makihara (Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa) and Hiroyuki Tanaka (Attack on Titan, Ninja Scroll) and so we expect this new series to be one of a kind. Megumi Han (Fruits Basket, One Piece) will voice Momo and Yû Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, Black Clover) will be giving her voice to Fine, the vampire queen. The anime will only be subtitled in English with Japanese audio.
The series was initially set for a 2021 premiere on Netflix but was delayed to May 2022. The script itself was initially started in March of 2019, while filming and post-production happened from March to May 2021. Everything was completed in April of 2022.
It’s a bit unclear how many episodes the series will have, but Netflix is calling it exactly this: a series. IMDB and Netflix both do not have any information about how many episodes we’ll be able to binge on Monday, so for now, it is completely a waiting game.

Netflix’s media center gives Vampire in the Garden the following synopsis:
The fateful meeting of a human and the vampire queen may change the world. From WIT STUDIO and a team of talented creators comes Vampire in the Garden. One cold winter, humanity lost its battle with the vampires, and with it, most of where they called home. A small population of survivors created a wall of light in a small town to protect them and give them a place to live in peace.
The protagonist, Momo, lives a repressed life but still wishes to coexist with the enemy, the vampires. Fine, the vampire queen, once loved humans and disappeared from the battlefield. As war rages through the humans’ town, the two have a fateful encounter.
Once upon a time, humans and vampires lived in harmony in a place called Paradise. This is the story of a young girl and a vampire on a journey to find Paradise.
This may be the first you hear of the series, but some fans are counting the days before the anime hits the screen.
