The previous episode of The Last Of Us left us on the edge of our seats. Cliffhanger endings are pretty brutal at times, and this one was no different. So, when can we expect to see The Last of Us Episode 7? Let’s take a look below.
When Will The Last Of Us Episode 7 Air?
The seventh episode of The Last of Us, titled “Left Behind,” will air on HBO Max and On Demand on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time and 6 p.m. Pacific Time. We’ve set up a live countdown so you can see how much time is left until the seventh episode of TLOU.

Episode 7 should delve deeper into Ellie’s story and tell us more about how she is under stressful circumstances, her background, how she was in school, and more.
What Can We Expect in TLOU’s Episode 7?

According to the teaser trailer, and as stated above, we will be taking a deeper look at Ellie without Joel. This episode is also a wink at The Last of Us’s DLC expansion, “Left Behind”. If we base it on the game, we should expect that Ellie, after an attack that left Joel in episode 6 with critical injuries, will be exploring an abandoned mall in Colorado for materials to help him recover in order to treat him. In the game, she finds a medical kit that was hidden inside an abandoned military chopper that had crashed through the ceiling of the building. When she makes her way back to Joel, who is still comatose, she is forced to contend with both the Infected and members of the hostile human gang that was responsible for Joel’s injuries in the first place. She will have to use her wits to make her way back to Joel, where she will tend to his wounds and then lead him to a safe haven to wait out the winter’s progression.

We will, however, take a better look at Ellie and her past. Months before the attack, three weeks exactly before Ellie meets Joel, Riley Abel surprises her at their Boston military boarding school after running away over a month ago. She reveals that she has joined the Fireflies, a revolutionary militia group, and takes Ellie to explore the abandoned mall in question. They have fun with a carousel, photo booth, arcade, and Halloween store before having a water gun fight. Riley reveals that she has been assigned to a group of Fireflies in a different city, but broke the rules to come and see Ellie one last time. That is, if we judge how it goes in the game, of course. It could go entirely another way, but seeing how some episodes were compared side-by-side to an almost exact match, this is probably what’s going to happen.
I have played the games and know how this is going to go, but I’ll spare you this detail. No need for super spoilers!
