Last week, we got our first solid look at Y:The Last Man in a spectacular teaser trailer and an American release date of September 13 on FX/Hulu. But now we have word that the UK premiere won’t come until September 22 on Disney+.

Of course, Disney owns Hulu, so it’s not a big stretch to see the crossover, but we’re still curious about the distinction.

Y: The Last Man is the TV adaptation of the popular post-apocalyptic graphic novel series of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. The story takes place after a strange apocalyptic event wipes out all male humans and mammals around the world except for one man and his monkey. The world’s survivors not only want to find out what happened to all the men, but also figure out why there are two male survivors.

Y: The Last Man will be available through the Star offering on Disney+ in the UK when those first three episodes drop on September 22. From there, a new episode will hit the streaming service every Wednesday.

To top off this news, the show’s creators have released another trailer that shows us even more clips from the show, including its sense of humor that we loved so much from the comics.
