Each new dubbed episode is going to release about a month after the sub drops. Which means that Season 4 Episode 17, called “Judgment,” will first be available on February 13.
Funimation is releasing the English dub for Season 4 Episode 17 sometime on Sunday, February 13. From thereon, a new English dub is releasing each week on Sundays on Funimation, about a month after the sub premieres.
A representative from Funimation confirmed with Post Apocalyptic Media that the new dubbed episode is dropping sometime on Sunday, February 13, but that they don’t know exactly what time.
Make sure you change the dropdown menu to read Season 4, so you’ll be able to see when the new episode is out. Each episode will have “English/Japanese” beneath the episode title, so you can choose if you want the sub or the dub version. (The subs release on Funimation at 3:45 p.m. Eastern on Sundays, so it’s possible the English dubs will drop at the same time. However, for Season 4 Part 1, they often dropped on Sunday evenings, sometimes as late as 10 or 11 p.m. So don’t be surprised if it’s that late this time around too.)
Please note that in order to watch any episode, you’ll need an account. If you watch with a free account, you’ll have to wait a week after it drops to be able to watch. All the paid plans come with an introductory free trial, which you can use if you want to test the platform before committing.
You Can Stream the New Dub on Toonami Late Saturday Night/Early Sunday Morning
Toonami is getting the dub episodes just a short time before Funimation. According to TV Guide’s listing, the dub of Season 4 Episode 17 is premiering on Toonami at 12:30 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on February 13 (11:30 p.m. Central on Saturday night, February 12.) On TV, it releases on Toonami (aka the Adult Swim/Cartoon Network channel.) Toonami’s Facebook page said the episode was releasing at midnight, but Toonami’s schedule here notes it’s releasing at 12:30 a.m. Eastern too.
If you’re wanting to stream Toonami without a cable subscription, it should also be available on Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, AT&T Now, and YouTube TV. (Note that this is Hulu with Live TV, not the regular Hulu service. The regular Hulu service is getting Season 4 Episode 1’s dub on February 22, so they’re pretty far behind everyone else.)
You can see Toonami’s schedule here. Clicking on the Attack on Titan link on Toonami takes you to Adult Swim’s page here. All of Season 4 through Episode 16 is there, but you need a cable login to watch. Season 4 Episode 17 will be added there too (although possibly after it has streamed), but you’ll need a cable login to access the episode. You can also typically stream Toonami episodes on the Adult Swim app for Google Play or iOS, but these also typically require a cable log-in.
