It’s been a full six years since Mad Max: Fury Road released, and to help celebrate the anniversary this month, Flicks for Fans and Wasteland Weekend are hosting a special drive-in screening of the blockbuster film in California.

Fury Road Event PosterThe event will take place for one night only on Saturday, May 22 at The Plant Drive-In theater in Van Nuys, CA. Gates open at 5 p.m. local time at a cost of $30 per car.

But this will be much more than just a showing of the film (although, seriously, that’s enough). The event will also feature a gathering of post-apocalyptic vehicles, prizes for the best costumes, giveaways, vintage trailers and food snipes, a live version of the Sounds Scary talk show, and more!

Plus, organizers will show a special video tribute to the Toecutter and Immortan Joe himself, the late Hugh Keays-Byrne who passed in December of 2020.

If this sounds like something you’d like to WITNESS, head over to the Regency Theater ticket page for full ticket information.
