I love it when producers figure out how to terrify us and keep us in suspense while using a simple setting and background. This post-apocalyptic movie takes place entirely in one location, but that doesn’t make it any less scary. “The Tribe” just released a trailer for this independent film, and it looks like it will keep your attention through the whole film.

One of this year’s post-apoc movies that I enjoyed the most was 10 Cloverfield Lane, and most of that movie took place in one setting. The dark doomsday world can be pretty scary even in just one location.

According to the film’s official synopsis, the setting takes place after a global pandemic leaves only a few survivors in the entire world. Three sisters are fighting to survive on a remote ranch when they get some unexpected visitors.

This movie will premiere at Cannes.
