I live in Upstate New York with my husband and daughter. By day I work as a Court Clerk assisting members of the public with both routine and emergency Family Court issues. By night, I roam the Internet, reading, writing, blogging and administering fan forums. I have written reviews, previews and analyses. I have met and occasionally interviewed famous and near famous individuals. I am attracted to storylines featuring dystopian societies, post apocalyptic cultures, time travel and sci fi served up with a strong dose of mythology.
My current passion is SyFy’s “12 Monkeys.” I was first introduced to the series when I previewed it as a Nielsen screener approximately a year before it aired on the network. I currently serve as Administrator on “Addicts of the 12 Monkeys,” a fansite on Facebook.
I have attending “12 Monkeys” related fan events, including the cast panel at NYCCC in October 2015 (where I filmed the panel and asked a question during the Q & A). I also recently attended a live podcast during their recent press tour, where I was lucky enough to meet Aaron Stanford, Amanda Schull and Terry Matalas in person.
I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, having recently served for four years as its volunteer Regional Media Coordinator. In addition I am a member of the Paley Center for Media and also the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.
For fun I cuddle with cats, get killed in role playing games, target shoot and bake delicious things that are bad for me.
